The checking fixture must simulate the environment, both regarding the snap-fitting areas and regarding the Instrumental Panel (IP).
Fixation of the part in the checking fixture must be done with following datum points:
- Z plane: 3 contact points in Z1, Z2 and Z3, as per environment (environment is in contact in these points).
- X direction: 2 contact points in X4 and X5, following environment, but at 0 distance from part (contact).
- Y direction: 1 contact point in Y6 following environment, but at 0 distance from part (contact). Put a destaco (blockage) over RPS Y6, to block the part in Y direction.
Part must be measured with the metallic clips assembled on it, so checking fixture must allow assembly/disassembly with no damage.
Remark: Given the heigth of the checking fixture, use the lightest materials available, not to exceed the maximum acceptable weight for this type of fixture.
